Want to feel like a rock-star in 2017 but don’t have much time or energy to make major changes in your life?
Even if you’re already super busy, here are 4 quick and easy ideas for you to create an awesome 2017. After you complete them you can feel great knowing that you’re starting 2017 better off than you were in 2016 and you are well on your way to rock-star land. Ok, here they are:
IDEA #1 – LOVE UP ON THE 3 PEEPS WHO MATTER MOST
Take a few minutes to think about who were the 3 people who meant the most to you in 2016. Who did you most appreciate having in your life this year? Who was the most fun to know? Who was the kindest to you when you needed it most? Then, do something kind for all 3 people without expecting anything in return.
IDEA #2 – MAKE YOUR “I’M AMAZING” LIST
What are the 3 most amazing things that happened for you in 2016? List 3 of your happiest moments and greatest achievements in 2016 and post the list somewhere proudly. For example, did you meet someone interesting, lose that extra weight or get a promotion at work? You worked hard to achieve these 3 big goals in 2016 and you earned the right to celebrate them on New Year’s Eve.
IDEA #3 – DO A 2-MINUTE ONLINE DATING PROFILE REVIEW
Spend about a minute quickly reading over your online dating profile(s) and pretend that you’ve never visited your profile before. Then spend about 2 minutes thinking about what your impression of this person is and if you’d want to date them. If the answer is “yes” then give yourself a quick cheer and go on to the next idea. If the answer is “no” then list the 3 biggest turn-offs in your profile and improve it.
IDEA #4 – SEND 3 THINGS INTO RETIREMENT
Take a few minutes to think about your love life currently and ask yourself, “what are the 3 biggest things that no longer serve me?” Is it time to retire your favorite dating outfit or choose a new fall-back first date spot? If something or somewhere no longer excites you or satisfies your needs it is probably best left in 2016.
I hope these 4 ideas help you end 2016 feeling strong and start 2017 feeling even better about yourself. In the comment section below, I’d love to hear about how 2016 was for you. Please let me know about your greatest achievements, your most important peeps and what you’ll be retiring before 2017.
One of my goals in 2017 is to build deeper connections with the people I already know and I’d love to get started on that with YOU right now 🙂
May the new year bring you incredible health, love and happiness! xoxoxox, Tracey
